Libra New Moon 2016
The Libra New Moon 2016 is exact on Friday at 5:11 PM PDT at 8.15°. The New Moon is a time of inception and new beginnings. Libra New Moon 2016 marks a time of new beginnings bringing harmony and social finesse. Libra’s glyph is the scales and the balance they seek is always found in relationship to others. Good relationships require compromise and accommodation. Librans’ love beauty and abound in the social graces. This image is from the Yayoi Kusama exhibit at The Broad museum, which I visited with my friend last week.
This is an extraordinary week in the heavens beginning with the once a year, super lucky conjunction of the Sun and Jupiter on Monday morning at 12:00 AM. Ebertin says this of the conjunction: “Creative power, capability to perform record achievements.” Sounds nice after all of the disruption and standstill of Mercury Retrograde we have endured over the past few weeks. Pluto, turns Direct that same day at 8:01 AM. This is definitely a Monday to tackle the world. And if this isn’t enough, then Mars, the planet of drive, moves into Capricorn, where it is exalted, on Tuesday at 1:07 AM. Mars in Capricorn is ambitious, sober, and willing to do the work to achieve its goals.
Void Moon and More
Venus trines Neptune at 10:13 AM Saturday morning kicking off October on an ideal and romantic note. The same day Mercury opposes Chiron at 8:22 PM, perhaps causing some strife and reactivity from old hurts. We have two long Void Moon periods this week. The first on Tuesday from 1:52 AM until 2:43 PM when the Moon enters Virgo. The Moon is in Leo so do some creative brainstorming. The second begins Thursday morning at 3:05 AM and continues until 12:52 AM Friday morning. This one is in Virgo so good for organizing and cleaning to promote your big ambitious goals.
