Pisces New Moon
The Pisces New Moon was exact Sunday morning at 6:58 AM PST at 8.12°. This Pisces New Moon includes a Solar Eclipse. Eclipses are liminal occurrences that disrupt our ordinary sense of time. Approached with trepidation, Eclipses’ influence seems to exceed the bounds of time, sometimes extending to before or after the Eclipse. The Pisces New Moon occurs in the final sign of the zodiac, the sign of dissolution and endings. In addition, this New Moon is approaching a conjunction with Neptune, at 11.34°, the modern ruler of Pisces. This gives an even more nebulous and spiritual spin to the Pisces New Moon. A very different energy is present at almost 22° Aries where Mars and Uranus will meet on the same day at 4:19 PM. Mars and Uranus are fiery and volatile enough without being in the sign of the fire starter. These two together can also be extremely willful and brutally frank. If you need an extra kick to make you let go of situations or old beliefs that have been stunting your growth, then this configuration may just do the trick. And Jupiter, which expands whatever it touches, is hanging out directly across from the dynamic duo. (Mars reaches exact opposition to Jupiter Monday morning at 6:24 AM, and Jupiter is opposite Uranus on Thursday at 5:15 PM.) Pisces energy is receptive and close to the dream state. I had a very dynamic dream this weekend and I plan to do some writing today to try to amplify the images and take advantage of what my psyche is trying to communicate. Let me not forget the Venus, planet of love and art, turns Retrograde next Saturday at 1:09 AM. Postpone the wedding plans and elective surgery, and no makes overs for the next six weeks.
We only have one brief void to watch out for this week. On Wednesday from 6:18 PM until 11:43 PM, when the Moon leaves Aries for Taurus. Void Moon in Aries is good for physical exercise or work around the house.
