Sun enters Pisces
The Sun enters Pisces at 3:31 AM PST next Saturday. When the Sun enters Pisces it marks a turn inward towards feeling and imagination, and away from the Aquarian outwardly directed intellect and innovation. I found this image of a green woman off of Melrose Avenue. She looks a bit like Frida Kahlo, but she reminded me of Green Tara, Tibetan Buddhist goddess of compassion. She represents compassion in action and she is ready to step into the world to help all those in need. Pisces is a dual sign, depicted by two fishes moving in opposite directions. It is mutable water. Perhaps the most sensitive sign in the Zodiac, it is also highly creative and spiritual. But the Piscean love of the ideal and otherworldly can drive those born under this sign to escapism and negative emotional spirals. They may turn their active imagination against themselves and literally make themselves ill, or their need to retreat into an idealized world may degenerate into mental illness or addiction. People born when the Sun enters Pisces may be moody, reserved, and secretive, but they can also be patient, receptive and display a open-hearted, selfless generosity. Here is hoping that we all receive some much-needed compassion and tolerance while the Sun moves through this mysterious sign.
We have two long difficult Void Moon periods this week. The first is tomorrow morning from 4:36 AM when the Virgo Moon squares Saturn, until 12:43 PM when the Moon enters Libra. Void Virgo Moon is good for cleaning up your office space and reorganizing computer files. Alternatively you might want to reassess your dietary habits. The next Void is in Libra on Wednesday from 5:54 PM until 1:41 AM Thursday morning when the Moon enters Scorpio. Void Libra Moon is good for a stay at home night with your honey. Valentine’s Day features a harmonious Libra Moon with a nice Mercury trine at 10:09 AM. However jealousy and anger may arise late that night when the Moon squares Pluto at 11:58 PM. My advice, go to bed early!
